In-Home Family Supports

Our In-Home Family Supports program is designed to provide hands-on, practical assistance to families navigating challenges and crisis. We understand that the home environment plays a critical role in family well-being, and we are here to help families create spaces where they can heal, grow, and thrive.
Skilled Support Workers and Managers
Our team includes experienced youth support staff, support workers, and a dedicated team of skilled managers who work collaboratively with families to address their unique needs. We provide consistent, compassionate support tailored to each family’s goals.
Structured Routines and Healthy Environments
We support families in establishing structured routines that bring stability and predictability to the home. By helping families create healthy, organized environments, we empower them to build sustainable habits that promote well-being for everyone.
Practical Homemaking Support
From meal preparation to general homemaking, our team is there to help families manage daily tasks and reduce stress. We work alongside family members to build skills and confidence in maintaining their home.
Culturally Sensitive Approach

Family connection is essential to a child’s sense of belonging and well-being. Our Supported Family Time program ensures meaningful, structured visits between children, youth, and their families in a safe and nurturing environment.
Positive Parenting Strategies
Jumto family support workers guide parents through positive parenting strategies, helping to strengthen family bonds and improve interactions. We empower parents with tools and techniques that build confidence and create lasting change.
Coaching and Role Modeling
Our team provides real-time coaching and role modeling during family visits, gently guiding parents through interactions with their children. We offer practical, hands-on support that helps families build healthier communication patterns.
Preparation and Debriefing
We understand that transitions can be challenging. Our team helps children and parents prepare for visits and provides thoughtful debriefing afterward, creating space for reflection and growth.
Reliable Transportation
To support family time, our team offers reliable transportation for families ensuring children and youth can attend visits and maintain family connections without added stress. Our driving and supervision program ensures families can access essential services and maintain meaningful relationships.
Community and Cultural Integration

Community Integration Activities
Our skilled youth support workers create engaging, welcoming environments during community integration activities. Families are supported to participate in a variety of activities that create bonding opportunities and foster a sense of belonging.
Cultural Engagement
We support families in connecting with cultural activities, traditions, and practices that are meaningful to them. Whether it’s participating in community events, learning from Elders, or engaging in cultural ceremonies, we are here to facilitate those connections.
Family-Centered Planning

Family Preservation
By supporting community and cultural interaction, we help families build resilience and strengthen relationships, promoting family preservation and preventing the need for out-of-home care.
